Voices of Africa
The Voices of Africa are incredibly diverse. That’s because Africa is home to many different languages, cultures, and traditions. We don’t do things on a small scale here! Travelling to different parts of the continent, you’ll hear stories about the people, the symbiotic relationship we have with nature, and the one we have with spirit. You’ll hear about electrifying music, delicious cuisine, and dynamic dance. The songbirds and beasts of the earth play an important role too in our travel stories. These stories are told by the people who live there and have been passed down through the generations from an elder to a young one. Or perhaps from a lover to her adored or from a mother to the next generation.
The Voices of Africa travel stories are an important part of the continent’s heritage. They provide a sentimental glimpse into the lives of people who live here. These tales carry the colourful, beautiful, painful, and uneasy history of the land. These stories are about anything, from the mother who feeds the village to the art that saved a life. You’ll even meet people you never dreamed of knowing.
Many voices of Africa are uplifting. You may feel sad and perhaps your heart will break. When you hear the other stories you’ll probably laugh so hard your belly will hurt or maybe you’ll just smile in kind recognition.
If you are lucky enough to hear or read these travel stories, you will be able to understand and consider the people of Africa and the continent in a whole new way. So come on and join us!
